Take 2 Minutes to Help Ealing School Streets

Do you think primary schools should have more motor traffic around their entrances, or less?  That's the question Ealing Council are asking the public, and we hope you'll take a moment tell them you support the Fielding Primary School Streets proposal.

SUPPORT SCHOOL STREETS

The School Streets programme manages traffic flows around school entrances during pick-up and drop-off times, reducing congestion and pollution around our youngest residents.

School Streets have been wildly successful all over the borough, and are extremely popular among parents, children, and school staff.  They have improved safety around school entrances, cleaned up the air inside classrooms, and increased the rate of families cycling and walking their "school run" journeys.

Unfortunately, many have been spreading confusion about the scheme, so every informed response can help local families walk and cycle to school.  Your support means the world to us and to our children.

Thank you for your time in reading this, and I hope you can join ECC in support of safer streets in Ealing.
